Getting Started with Green Screen Video Creation

STEP ONE:

Choose an app or program to use with your creation.  On this site we have provided some intro videos of iOS apps that you may wish to try with an i-device.  There are similar programs for androids.

STEP TWO:

Identify a creation space. Good lighting is essential. However, too much uneven or natural light can also be a                                                 problem.

STEP THREE:

Hang a "green screen".  This can be green fabric, green paper, or a green painted wall!  If you plan to use this many times, try to choose a space where you can leave it set up.

STEP FOUR:  Make the plan.

                         *  What is the purpose of the video?

                         *  Do you need to write scripts?

                         *  Do you need props?

STEP FIVE:

Practice before filming.

STEP SIX:

Film!  Have some fun!

STEP SEVEN:

Edit the film.  Add in the background.  Play with it!

STEP EIGHT:

Share!  Be proud!
