About Us

Christine Clayton

Christine is an elementary science teacher at Carruthers Creek Public School in Ajax, Ontario, Canada. She has been teaching for the Durham District School Board (DDSB) for 9 years now. Christine is married with two beautiful children, Gwendolyn and Andrew, ages 5 and 3. In her spare time, Christine loves baking, gardening, and English horseback riding. She enjoys jumping and showing at equestrian events. Christine hopes to be finished her Masters in Educational Technology by 2016.

Revathy Selvadurai

Rave Selvadurai is a teacher living and working on the island of Borneo. She loves travelling and learning about other cultures. In her spare time, Rave loves to hash in the jungle (a paper chase in the jungle), surf with her kids, read and hang out with her friends. Rave is currently teaching year 11 O’Level students.

Tina Gordon

Tina is currently in her 19th year of teaching in Campbell River, BC.  During her career she has taught music for K-7, general classroom for K-6, and also Technology Instructional Support Teacher for 12 schools. She is interested in incorporating iPads and creativity into her classroom, providing students with ongoing collaborative challenges.   When not teaching, Tina enjoys spending time with her family and pursuing outdoor adventures on the beautiful coast of British Columbia.

Sayali Tamane

Sayali currently teaches Science to 10th graders in a school catering only to underprivileged children in Wai, India. Because India is an extremely populous and diverse developing country, educational technology can be one great way of equalising educational opportunities to all. With this end,  Sayali is interested in understanding how to create technology-supported learning environments suitable to all.

Valentyna Zolotarova

Valentyna is an elementary and highschool teacher in Vancouver, British Columbia who teaches French, Spanish, PE and Digital Arts during the day and karate in the evenings. She is a former competitor and currently a karate referee.  Valentyna is interested in media literacy in a multimedia educational setting, psychology of mass media, anthropology, new media, and many other topics.
